Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Aggravated Assault

My 16 year old brother is going to court tomorrow with 8 different charges being brought against him including aggravated assault, terroristic threats, conspiracy, robbery, and others I am not sure of. The police officer said that at most he will be on house arrest. Should he get an attorney? What is likely to come of all of this?

Re: Aggravated Assault

Yes, your brother should absolutely get a lawyer to represent him on these charges. It is the judge, not the police officer who determines who gets house arrest. We provide a free consultation.

Well its a little late for an attorney. You should have gotten one when he was arrested. There is no time for any attorney to be prepared for tomorrow. Still he should get counsel as soon as possible.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
