Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Allegations from friend's mother

Just recently the mother of one of my 17 yr old friends called me and threatened legal action against me for providing her son with alcohol. I'm over 21, and we often have people over, some of whom are over 21 and some of whom are not. I don't let minors drink at my apartment, and I have never bought, nor provided alcohol to any of them. The allegations come after a night his mother found him coming home drunk after spending the evening at my apartment, when he told her he was drinking at my apartment. Her son is an alcoholic, and has admitted to taking alcohol from his mother's stash. My concern is how far these charges would go, as it would just be their word against mine. I have no record at all, while the ''friend'' in question is already on probation. Most recently she called and left a message saying I had to pay for his rehab or she would press charges. My main concern is over proof. There isn't any, and it's just their word against mine. With him being on probation, and my lack of a record, will that help if this goes before a judge? I really cannot afford a lawyer at all, just coming off of a period of unemployment, and am trying not to worry about this. Your advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Allegations from friend's mother

You need an attorney. The charge COULD be "Corruption of Minors," which is not a minor charge.

The "proof" is his testimony about where and how he got the alcohol.
