Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Can I be arrested driving my wife's car without permission?

After a bad argument my wife asked me to leave. As we were on vacation we only brought one car, hers. She was mad and said if I took it she would report it stolen. Her name is the only one on the car but the payments come from our joint account and I am the primary earner. Things calmed down but it got me wondering if it would really be a crime if i took my wife's car without her permission. Any idea. By the way, we live in PA but the incident was in NJ.

Yes. Long ago I had a client who bought his "live-in" girlfriend a car. They had a fight, he took the car and his clothes and was sleeping in the car when the police located it. He went to jail for a while until she dropped the charges.
