Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

arrested for playing soccer

I was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of a highway or other public passage way for playing soccer in a parking lot where there are no signs posted saying anything about not being aloud to be there. When an officer came up he told me i had to stop playing. I then proceeded to ask what the law was saying i couldn't play there. He clearly didn't know the law so i kept asking over and over until the cop got out of the car and arrested me put me in the car and took me to the station. I was then searched had to drop my pants and spread my checks and left with a citation for disorderly conduct and obstruction of a highway or other public passage way. I have to go to court to challenge the citations, is there any advice someone can help me with?

Re: arrested for playing soccer

You may have a very good case for false arrest against the police if you can get these charges dismissed. In order to properly defend yourself from the charges and potentially be able to respond with a suit against the police, you should speak with an attorney familiar with these various areas of law.
