Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
If you were arrested 20 years ago on a drug charge and left town before going to court can you safely return to the us to visit without being rearrested

Once you were arrested the statute of limitations was tolled. That is even though the arrest was 20 years ago you can still be prosecuted. My guess would be that if you came to PA and were stopped by the police for even a traffic violation they would still find a warrant for your arrest. If they do you would be arrested. Whether they could make the charges stick after 20 years is another matter.

Most likely, you would face arrest. I have had similar cases.
I would be glad to try to help you.
