assault

what charges can an illegal alien recieve for attacking someone with a broken beer bottle and severly injuring the victim? and what could happen to the victim if he too is an illegal alien?

The attacker would face state law criminal charges. Whether the feds would get involved is a good question. Assuming that both are clearly illegal aliens I suspect that the state prosecutor might try to work something out with the feds to at least keep the victim in the country until he could testify.
