Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

attempted fraud
im being charged with attempted ins. fraud i altered a fuel oil reciept & a atv that i thought was stolen my brother in law had picked up without me knowing i havent recieved any money what am i facing ?i have already turned myself in because of a warrant & was released on ror. the amount they have is just over 10,000 but the atv is 3 1/2 years old going price is about 3 to 4 thousand they have it as just over 8000 but that is new price the lawyer i have is hard to get ahold of & says he strongly believes im going to get a 1000 fine & probation does that sound right? the officer for the ins. co told me that the ins. co is just seeking restition does this involve jail time? i live in sc the issue is at a pa resd.
