automobile forfeiture
a 17 year old gets pulled over in her parents car for running a stop sign. The officer sees the back seat passengers hiding something behind the seats (2 marijuana joints) that they confess to owning. What defenses could be raised at the forfeiture hearing?

There shouldn't even be a forfeiture hearing under the facts you are stating.
