Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
beebee guns
I live in Pennsylvania. My son is 14. He accidently shot a boy with a beebee gun. I was wondering if he can be arrested. The boy's mom knows that it was an accident, but the hospital said that have to report it to the police anyway. Can he get into trouble for this?

Re: beebee guns
Without sounding flip, a person can be arrested for anything. The real question is whether your son can be CONVICTED of anything? The answer to that depends on the other boy's account of the incident and your son's account of the incident. If the police contact you or your son, make sure he does not make a statement under any circumstance. Good Luck. Feel free to email with more questions.
