Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Blocked call trace
I was hoping you could let me know if I should worry. Recently I broke up with a man, and have been with another person since him. I had some reason to believe I could have an STD and started to worry. I know the girl he is dating now, and wanted to warn her just in case, even before I got tested. Since I knew he wouldn't tell her, I called her from my cell, blocking my number, because I didn't think it necessary to tell her who I was. I only called once. They are now saying they are able to look up my blocked number and press slander charges. Can they do that and should I be worried?

Slander is a civil matter and not criminal. You have the absolute defense of the truth.
