Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My boss gave me his keys to go in his car, while in it I took 300$, it was in his trunk. I gave it rite back to him, but now he wants 1500.00 or he'll go to the cops. He's blackmailing me. Am I in trouble if he does go to the cops? What do I do?

Unfortunately, you committed a crime when you took the $300 from your boss' car and in Pennsylvania that it is considered "theft". However, blackmail is also considered a crime in Pennsylvania, so you might want to negotiate with your boss, informing him that although he can report you for theft, the penalty for blackmail in Pennsylvania is more severe than the penalty for a $300 theft
