brothers death

my brother was found on a known drug dealers sofa at 7 am unresponcive the ppl left him lie there till 842 then calling ambulance autop says drug overdose the lady at the home was seen giving my bro pills for a headache the lady confessed to everyone even police it was asprin tox report says no asp it was zanax and oc the police said too bad even if she gave him the meds and it is proven she is innocent of any crime ,this happend in connellsville pa , the police force is treating us like idiots ,officer reese even stated this family was there at another overdose but nothing can or will be done ,he wants me to bring my idiot lawyer to a meeting with he and the da yelling bring em on i cant belive this my bro had no involvement with drugs he was tested at his job often ,but as the cop said the drugs were theraputic level ,so no charges will be filed how can this be please help if u want to talk call me at 724 677 4789

I'm not sure if there is a case there or not. It sounds like there may be at least a civil action for wrongful death but from your description of the person supplying him with Xanax, I don't think there would be much chance of recovering any money from them. Lawyers are cautious about taking on cases where they know there is going to be several years of work before any recovery, especially where that recovery is doubtful but the fact that the DA and the police want to meet with you and your lawyer sounds hopeful.
