Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My buddy was at a party the other evening, and long story short the cops showed up. The cops asked him for his id. My friend is underage. The officer asked if he had had anything to drink, my friend said he might have had 2 beers. The police never administered a breath test or withdrew any blood. The officer said the citation would be in the mail. The officer did get his information, such as name, number, and p.o. box. My overall question is should my friend fight this ticket since there is no physical evidence stating that he was under the influence of alcohol?
