Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My car was recently stolen and totaled. I want to sue the kids' parents for damages. They are low-income families. Do I have a case? Is it worth the hassle and money if they are unable to pay settlement?

First, what does your insurance company want to do. Second, how are the kids' parents involved. And even if they were then from the sounds of it they don't have any money either. Suing the kid would probably get you a judgment which he'll never be able to pay. Of course you could have his license suspended untill the judgment is paid. OR why isn't the DA asking for restitution as part of the criminal case.
