Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I am being charged 1 theft by unlawful taking, and 1 receiving stolen property of objects totaling a claimed$350, I was not able to gain a lawyer for preliminary and the witness started he saw me remove a propane grill and a host of other objects from my mothers shed, then a year 2010 Ford F150 pulled up and helped me load the objects to the truck, problem is no one I know has brand new anything and I don't own a car. Them my mother got on stand I asked where the grill was and she stated the truth that out was outside on the patio. I am maintaining my innocence because I was with my father at that time. He lives 2.5 miles away from her and I got out to do my cardio for an hour around 3 to 4. The crime is being said I did it at 4:30 when I was with my father. I never knew being healthy and walking will come back to bite me, but my new public defender is questioning my innocence by saying the alibi isn't strong, she asked why my mother would do this and I told her I was illegally evicted from the house on the first of the year. My girlfriend punched my mother in the face because she, my mother was drunk and made a go at her, that led to my removal, and she is 5000. 00 in debt, lost the home I allegedly stole from, and still this lawyer didn't view the common sense of it all, what should I do, there is no proof, and its my word vs the so called witness because my mother wasn't even at the house but my previous public defender was all for proving my innocence, this one is making me feel like I'm going to end up in jail. I don't have much money but I want to win, she makes me feel like I'm guilty when I am not, any help?
