Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Charges where filed against me in Pennsylvania and I live in New Hampshire and only know about it from a Facebook news post. The charges were filed on the 3rd of May and no one has contacted me about any of this. There is a preliminary hearing set for the !2th of June and on the court document I found on line it says Advised of His Right to Apply for Assignment of Counsel? Yes. But no one from P.A. has contacted me about any of this. And at the end of the day I have no idea about any of it because I did not do it. How do I get the charges dropped?

Some basic questions:
Where in PA were you charged?
What were you charged with
If by assigned counsel you mean a public defender the whether you get one will depend on the answers to the above 2 questions. Actually getting any representation will depend on your answers.
