Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Citation
About 3 years ago, I was given a citation for driving without a license. Back then I was careless so I threw it away with not a care in the world. Today, I'm a little more upstanding and wanted to know how to take care of this to get it off my record so I won't go to jail if I happened to get pulled over. Is there anything I can do since this is a very old ticket? My friend told me that there most likely is a warrant out there for me but since I'm law abiding that I'm slipping through the cracks.

A restoration requirements letter will tell you where the ticket was issued. It will also detail any other steps you need to take. You may be entitlted to have the ticket dismissed with what was called a Bickley letter (Statute of Limitations). I offer free consultations.

There may be a warrant. Talk to an attorney and have the attorney determine if there is a warrant and if so, the best way to deal with it.
