no contest plea

Can a person who was allowed to plea ''no Contest'' have their parole revoked if they don't admit to being guilty? Is there a law stating this?

A no contest plea or Nolo Contendre plea is a guilty plea in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In other words, you would need to plead NOT GUILTY, if you think you are not guilty....a no contest plea doesn't cut it. You should retain legal counsel before this blows up in your face.

No Contest pleas can be interpreted in many different ways. Usually when there is a parole or probation revocation it is not because of a non-admission of the crime. Admitting that one comitted the crime can be taken into account at a parole hearing, ie whether parole should be granted. This does seem odd. Please email with more details.
