Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I was convicted of a misdemeanor (possession of a controlled substance) in 2008. The charge intially was a felony but I plead it down. I served 30 days in the county jail and was on supposed to be on parole for 11 months. If you read my affidavit, I was wrongly convicted of this crime. This charge has been hindering me from obtainining employment. I was also represented by a public defender who I feel did not do his job at all. My question is: Can I reopen this case and have this decision overturned?
1 Answer from Attorneys
That might be difficult to do. I would suggest getting a pardon. Pardon is a way for you get the charge of your record.
