Criminal ''offence'' lawyer? : (
Normaly, one would need a criminal ''defence'' lawyer if they were the defendant.
QUESTION: what type of lawyer would I need if I were the ''plaintiff'' in the case?

If you are a victim, you would try to get an Assistant District Attorney in your County to approve a private criminal complaint. If the DA's Office refused to take the case, you would file a Petition for Approval with the Court.
