Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Disorderly Conduct

18 yr old college freshman charged with S 18 S5503 SSA4 Disorderly Conduct. Friends worried about her called 911 and police came and made her take ambulance to hospital. bac .10% however no underage drinking given. She wasn't loud or anything and told her friends to leave so they wouldn't get in trouble. Should she plead guilty and pay the $222 fine? What repercussions does having a summary charge have? This was in Montgomery County in PA (Collegeville, PA)

Re: Disorderly Conduct

If you go with an attorney, this could usually be pled down to a lower fine and a lower penalty, possibly fine only. Contact my office for a free consultation.

Re: Disorderly Conduct

Disorderly conduct is better than an underage (underage carries a license suspension). The maximum fine for disorderly conduct is $300 plus costs (total around $470). If your total is $222, you already are getting a break. A lawyer will cost you more than you will save.
