Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Dropping Charges?
Can a charge (such as a small drug related charge) be dropped in court because the officer never read rights to whomever he/she arrests? Or because they STARTED to search a vehicle BEFORE they asked for concent?

I'm just responding to this duplicate question because I wanted to make it clear that suppressing evidence is not a slam dunk regardless of whether the police have "consent." Like most legal issues, it depends on the facts.
