drug charges
my daughter, 16, and a friend exchanged pot for pills on school ground. SHe has never been in truoble, good grades, good kid - just make a stupid mistake - what are the consequences for her - thanks

Based on your facts the worst she is looking at is Possession With Intent to Distribute. Unfortunately that is a major felony and if the DA wanted to she could be tried as an adult. That's the bad news.
The best that can happen is the DA will allow her to go a juvenile and she be offered the juvenile equivalent of ARD. She will have to do community service, possibly go to drug rehab and stay out of trouble for 6 months.
