drug possession
if I am convicted of drug possession, do I lose my license even if I was not driving a vehicle at the time of the arrest?

The statutes do require PennDOT to suspend the license for 6 months for first offense. Depending on your prior record you may be eligible for pre-trial diversion including ARD. You should contact a lawyer. I offer free consultations.

Yes. Suspension of license has nothing to do with whether you are driving. (I know it sounds silly, but that's the law.) If you are facing this charge, you should talk to an attorney who may be able to get you ARD if this is your first offense, in which case you wouldn't lose your license.
