Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
education
Our 16 year old son was found in posession of marijuana on school property during school hours. This is his second offense, as he brought vodka to a school dance last year. We are going to withdraw him from school hoping to avoid an expulsion on his record, and enroll him in cyber charter school. What other charges will he face, legally, and what are his, or our rights, as parents? We would like for this not to effect his getting his license, as he will need it to go to work and back home to do his school work, daily. We will get him in counseling, and community service work. Is that possible? Help me out please? What should we, as parents do? He is a nice kid, who did a stupid thing.
