escape from halfway house on prerelease from prison how much time?

Absconded from halfway house before parole, extradited to PA, awaiting sentnencing. How much time for the escape chrge (that's what they are classifiying absconding as)

Escape in that situation is a felony of the third degree which carries a maximum sentence of three and one half to seven years. The sentencing guidelines would set a range far less than that, most likely, depending on your criminal history.

Further, since you have not yet been paroled, it is possible (although not necessarily likely) that the escape sentence could run concurrent to the one already being served.

This is probably a Misdemeanor 2. Sentencing depends upon too many factors to give a direct answer.
