Who can and How can someone get copies of evidence (photographs of rape case victim) that was used in a criminal case? I think the photos may have been doctored but the ones given to the defense were black and white very poor quality photos that you can not tell anything from. I need to get top quality photo color copies to help clear an innocent man convicted and sentenced to 10 1/2 to 21 years. This man is my son and he has been in jail for 9 months now an innocent man and I need new proof to show this woman to be a liar. Please help. So may I ask again, Who can and How can someone get copies of evidence (photographs of rape case victim) that was used in a criminal case?

The best hope for his exoneration would be DNA. Given the seriousness of the charges I would hope he had a lawyer defend him.

Unless there have been timely appeals than he will have a tough time overturning his conviction.
