Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Expongment

I plead guilty to Burglary and Conspiracy to commit Burglary. I was 18 and now am 23, I have not been in trouble since. It was also my first offense. I have been trying to get into the Navy and with no luck. I have tried to get lawyers to help me get my record sealed and no lawyer wants anything to do with it. I guess I have to put an application in the Board of Pardons to try and receive clemency. Would you have any advice, before submitting the application, on what I should or should not do?

Re: Expongment

Expungement may or may not be an option. In some counties the D.A. will not oppose a Petition, especially for limited purposes and especially for a one time offense. In other counties, D.A.s oppose all petitions for any purposes.
