Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Expunge record

I have read a lot online about expunging criminal records in Pennsylvania, but recently contact one attorney who said unless i was over 70 years old I could not have these records expunged. The incident was for petty theft, and was given a fine which I paid immediately. This happened over 3 years ago, is there anything I can do to have these records expunged? Please let me know..Thank you!!

Re: Expunge record

unless the DA agreed to place you in an ARD (Accelerated Rehabilitavie Dispostion Program) w/ expungement as a condition therein, the only way you can have your record expunged is by receiving a pardon from the Governor.

Re: Expunge record

In what county did it take place? How much was stolen? If you paid the fine maybe it was just a summary offense. Are you sure you have a record? Feel free to contact us.
