Expungement of record
If I committed a crime of Theft by unlawful taking back in 1996, how would I get that expunged from my record? It is a felony charge.

Re: Expungement of record
In Maryland, if you were convicted of a crime, you cannot expunge it. If, for example, the Judge entered a guilty finding and not another finding that would not be considered a conviction (such as probation before judgment), you're stuck with it. Unfortunately, at least in MD, convictions are not subject to expungement.
For questions on Pennsylvania law, you should consult with PA lawyer.
I hope this helps.
