Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I have been extorted $180 less than 24 hours ago. The perpetrator and his accomplices walked into my apartment demanding $500. The man said "If I don't have the other $380 in two weeks, I will come back up here, you do not want me to come back here".
My question is, if I obtain a firearm and I use the weapon to protect myself (fatally/non-fatally wounding him/his party) what judicial ramifications may result from it?
I do not have a license to carry, and I do not have a gun permit

Why not just call the police?
If you were to get a firearm without the necessary permits you would be arrested.
