Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I am facing my third retail theft charge and Im a recent nursing student graduate. I dont know what to do and cant afford a lawyer so Im relying on a public defender.

Good luck then. Did the public defender explain you are going to jail and may lose your nursing license once you plead guilty?
