Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I have had false charges filed against me, what can I do?
I was dating a man for a few months, found out he was cheating on me, and filled in the other women. Since that time, this man has been on a vendetta to see me in jail.
First, he filed a phony PFA on me. I was advised to sign off on a temp. order, not admitting guilt, and just to leave him alone, which I did. Two days later, I was arrested on a Phony PFA violation, and spent the night in jail. I had an alibi where I was when the phony violation was said to occur, so I got that case dismissed and the hearing cancelled.
Since that time, I have been investigated by burgularly detectives, apparently this man claims I have broken into his home as well. I have been very cooperative with the detectives, and took a lie detector test and passed, proving my innocence.
My question is, what can I do? He will be charged with making false reports, but can I now get the PFA removed? I am afraid of him calling in another phony violation. Can I sue for harassment? How about my bail costs, legal fees and time in jail over these phony reports? The police aren't very helpful in telling me how to handle this. They just seem very aggravated in wasting their time and taxpayer money on me over these false reports. But I feel I deserve justice.

Besides PFA's there are Civil Restraining Orders. I would suggest that a lawsuit against him combined with a motion for a restraining order from the civil division might help. I offer free consultations.

First off you can and should claim a harrassment suit both civil and criminal as well as file a PFA against him....tic for tac....besides it will give you some leverage, at least until both of you grow tired of these games.
