what can you do if a police officer makes false statements on your police report or affidavid?

if you are found not guilty on the criminal case, you can then file a complainant against the officer with the township and simultaneously sue the government.

My clients frequently disagree with the accuracy of police reports. Most of the time it is because of matters that the Judges don't consider relevant. For example, if the police report states that you were wearing a blue shirt and you were actually wearing a green shirt, that's not going to help. On the other hand, if the police report states that you were standing over a body with a smoking pistol when you were at a party with twenty witnesses willing to sign affidavits, then you have something.
