Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Felony/Misdemeanor Charges

My son is on 4 years probation for a felony. He now has 3 pending cases. One breaking into a car and 2 thefts, 2 criminal conspiracies and 2 assaults. What is the worst case scenario of the sentence he could receive if convicted of all charges?

Re: Felony/Misdemeanor Charges

If he is convicted his probation will have been violated therefore he will have to serve the 4 years. Because these are new offenses chances are any time received would be consecutive for the period for violating probation. Theft offenses are graded by amounts and can range from a misdemeanor to a felony. Therefore, the actual level of the offense would need to be known before any prediction as to time could be made. Additionally, the assault charges can range from simple assualt to aggravated assualt with a deadly weapon. I highly recommend your son speak to an attorney as soon as possible to discuss defenses, possible plea negotiations and possible penalties. I offer free consultations.
