Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

My fianc� ex literally lied to the police and asked to have harassment and stalking charges (Both misdemeanors) pressed on me. The charges were dismissed but it still shows I had to go to court for those horrible charges. I'm not sure if I would be passed over for employment, but I feel like it's a possibility. Can I have them expunged from my record even though it was dismissed?

Misdemeanor charges should count for much. However, there is a way to get them expunged. It's a fairly complicated process so you should talk to an attorney.
