Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
my fiance was arrested and charged with F3 theft by unlawful taking and F3 receiving stolen property. he is on probation and has a long history of theft charges. what kind of jail time is he looking at if convicted? could he get house arrest or probation?

An f3 case upon conviction faces up to seven years in prison and the person could receive more time if it violates his probation. There are several other options other than jail in this case however.
