Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Finance has charges an im the Victim.

So now my finance is in jail On charges such as agravated assult, terroristic threats an recklessly endengaring another person.... Ok we were both highly intoxicated but one thing i do remember is telling the cops he was depressed an mad an spazzing an said he thought about KILLING HIMSELF, now he called me an said the cop said he was going to kill me which i know is not true. An also on the report is that i said he choked me, i dont remember saying that but i might have out of fear, i wanted them to just have him leave for the night before it esculated, commonwelth took over these charges, what do can i do to make sure he gets out at his peliminary hearing. Since i know he did not threaten to kill me, an will i go to jail if i say that he didnt choak that i was just scared that it was going to esculate, an i just needed them to make him leave, never thought he would go to jail.... an like i said i was highly intoxicated.

Just tell the truth. If you honestly do not remember the altercation then you have nothing to worry about. The police are not allowed to force you to give false testimony. As always, honesty is the best policy.
