Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
formal arraignment case
I have a formal arraignment hearing on 12-2-08 in Allegheny county PA. What should I except at that hearing, can I go to jail on that date, please explain what will happen at this time, do I receive what the DA has on me, etc. Please explain going crazy I can not afford a lawyer so I am using a PD and I don't meat with him until later this month

You go there and you sit in front of a person with a computer, you sign some papers, and they schedule you for your next appearance. You do not go to jail on that day. You will be scheduled for trial, and your PD will try to get you a plea offer before your next appearance.
Stop worrying. Your attorney (you know, your PD, who is a lawyer) knows what he/she is doing.
