Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

fortune teller told my 14 yr old she has a dark spell that only could remove be removed by the fortune teller. But my daughter had to purchase 14 candles @ $30 each to remove darkness - she paid in total $345.00 cash but has hand written receipt showing what was paid, what is owed & where to send funds. The day my daughter had reading she was discharged from a psychiatric hospital due to attempted suicide (marks on her wrists) which were seen by fortune teller. I believe this is theft by deception based on Pennsylvania code title 18, chapter 71 , section 7104. Since she is a child perhaps other violations were incurred. I began to write a letter to card reader demanding a refund. What else could I do to prevent this woman doing this to other ppl & get a refund?

A 14 year can't make contracts. So you can sue the fortune teller. One might ask why you let a 15 see a fortuneteller in the first place and why did your child recently released have that kind of cash on her. Yes the fortune teller needs to return the money. However, you need to take steps so she doesn't do this again.
