Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
A friend of mine is in jail for a crime he didn't commit,,the DA only has the detective statement, the Co defendant says he doesn't know my friend,,im his alibi he was with me..my question since my town is crooked,, which way legally does the judge have to rule?

Your question answered by Michael Kotik attorney at law. Judges have to be fair, otherwise they could get in trouble. If your friend does not believe the judge will be fair to him, he might consider going in front of a jury. However, to know for sure you should hire a criminal defense attorney to help your friend.
