Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
growing Ma Huang(ephedra)
I discovered a herbal seed company in Oregon who sells seeds for the herb Ma Huang. Since there are now laws which restrict the sale of this ephedrine producing plant how can I legally grow it?

Re: growing Ma Huang(ephedra)
I think you can legally grow it but the FDA placed restrictions on selling it in 1997 and on February 6th, 2004 The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a final rule prohibiting the sale of dietary supplements containing ephedrine alkaloids (ephedra) because such supplements present an unreasonable risk of illness or injury. The rule became effective 60 days from the date of publication.
