Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Hello,
I would like to know a definitive answer to what a felon in PA is aloud to own for protection. I have searched until I was blue in the face and have sooooo many different answers it will make your head spin. I have even contacted the State Police and they could not answer me?
OK, I'm 53 and I have a felony on my record from 1988. Did not involve a gun. Something stupid i regret but water under the bridge. I know I can not own a firearm in PA. Even black powder. What I would like to know is, am I aloud to own a crossbow? Am I aloud to own a air powered gun such as a pellet gun or such? Thought it would be easy to find out but doesn't seem to be.
Thank you for any help.
Thank you,
Brian Aspinall

How about the answer that will keep you out of prison. Np crossbow (they can be modified to launch bullets. Nor anything else that shoots a projectile.
Why do you eed protection. A cell phone and 911 should suffice.
