Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My husband was arrested for theft 6 years ago. He has not paid back any of the restitution. His parole officer told me that it will then become a civil matter. We have only been married for a year and I just found out about this last week. Will I be held responsible as well?

No. Marrying him only makes you liable for debts incurred jointly during the marriage.
