Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My husband is on probation. We have only been married for a year. All I knew about his probation before tonight was that it was unsupervised for a theft and would be over in November. I found out tonight, through a court record search that he not only has not paid his supervision fees of $600, but that he also owes over $67,000 in restitution. On top of all that he is driving on a suspended license. What in the world does all of this mean? I have never dealt with anything like this before. I'm scared and angry and I'm just not sure what to expect. Thank you for any advice.

Response by Attorney Michael Kotik. I think you should talk to your husband with respect to whats going on. There might be somethings that you are interpreting wrong. I suggest you talk it over with him before you jump to any conclusions.
