Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My husband was walking in a parking lot and a driver nearly backed over him. he got mad and flipped off the driver, who then retailiated by backing up even faster, nearly hitting him. My husband then, regrettably, threw a jar of jam and broke the driver's rear car window. The police took statements of witnesses who described what happened. My question is, will this be a summary offence or a misdemeanoer? Will the driver even be allowed to press charges since she was seen to be trying to run over my husband?
