Illegal Gambling

I was just wondering if operating a poker den in the basement of your business/school is illegal. This business is a place where children are taught from 4pm to 9:30pm, while the poker den isto be operated in the basement. There will be several tables down there, large flat screen televisions to watch sports, and alcohol will regularly be served, every evening. There, of course, will be a fee to get into the den. Several police officers will be participating in the poker games. Is this legal? This has not started up yet, but I was told about it and I have concerns for the students and those that work at the mart. arts school.
