Illegal searches
I would like to know if its legal to for the police to break into my house with a search warrant and nobody is at home as we told them we were on the way in ten minutes to let them in when we arrived they had already broke in and were searching they would not let us in or show us anything they took

The Search Warrant legitimizes the entry into your house in your absence. You should have been given a copy of the search warrant. The warrant should have been specific with respect to the things, items,objects etc. to be searched for and seized. The answer to your question is yes it is legal. Additionally, upon your arrival to your house, the police generally don't allow anyone to enter while they are searching.
