illegal wiretapping
There were problems happening at my job. People were saying that I made up a bunch of stuff about another employee which I did not. I wanted to clear things up for myself and so when I talked to one of the employee's I recorded our converstation. Is this illegal wiretapping?

Re: illegal wiretapping
I'm don't think this is "wiretapping" since it was not an intercepted communication. Recording a conversation without telling the other person isn't very nice, though, and it could get you into trouble with that other person and maybe with your employer.

Yes, that's illegal unless the person being recorded knew ne/she was being recorded and consented.
