Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

implicated in a crime

i got a phone call last night by a police officer and he told me i had a felony warrent for me,i am 35 years old with 5 kids and my criminal past came to a close over 10 years ago,2 brothers i know ,one whhich had worked with am and i have fired over a year ago implicated me in a theft...they are acussing me of stealing a 4 wheeler and selling on ebay in 2003,i no nothing of this but they told the police i stole it and asked them to sell it for me....i have to go for the arraignment next week and have no idea what to do,i did not do this,i cant afford this, and i have a family to support....my past is pretty shady but i have since made a life formy self and am a law abiding citizen,the only thing theses officers are going by is the 2 brothers....please help! i have no idea what to do and the cop told me to cover my ass,i told him i shouldnt have to and he said do it anyway.....can anybody help me and giv me advice?

The first thing to do is speak with a lawyer. If they allege you sold something on ebay there should be records to prove or disprove what they are claiming. A competent attorney will build the case you need. I offer free initial consultations.

You should speak with a lawyer. If you don't get a lawyer before the preliminary hearing, don't waive the hearing. Get a lawyer that will do that preliminary hearing and start fighting for you at the beginning. Make a record. Start the fight. Rumble against this.

You definitely need an attorney. If you cannot afford one you should talk to someone at the Public Defender's Office as soon as possible.
